Sheraton Resort & Spa, Tokoriki Island

We had the great pleasure to be the first guests at the brand new Sheraton Tokoriki Resort. The former Amanuca Resort was rebranded and opened in June and we got invited to stay for two nights. So of course, you don’t need to ask me twice! We decided to leave the kids with our nanny on the mainland and check out the brand new resort.
What a beautiful resort!

Getting there:

Tokioriki is the northern most island of the Mamanuca islands. You have the option to travel by boat or by helicopter. We took a boat from Port Denarau and it took about an hour to get there. But once the sea is calm, I really enjoy travelling by boat and passing several beautiful islands on the way. That’s where I start to unwind!

Amenities
Besides the fabulous beach, there is a swimming pool, tennis court, fitness centre and a spa at the resort. Also, don’t miss out on the resort’s very own movie theatre. There is also a kids club at the resort offering all day fun activities for your little ones.

The Room

The resort has 101 rooms and suits, including 30 “retreats” and seven family suits that have their own private plunge pool. We stayed in an Ocean front bure. The view from our deck was just beautiful.

Dining options

Being the biggest fan of Flying Fish Fiji, I couldn’t wait to try the food at Flying Fish Tokiriki! For the opening Peter Kuruvita came to Fiji to finalize the menu with executive chef Kim Brennon. Kim formerly worked in Flying Fish at the Sheraton Denarau and is now looking after Sheraton Tokoriki.
The resort has one restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a pool side menu and the “Pantry” serving light snacks during the day.

We had the most wonderful time at the resort! I would go back anytime! It’s a fantastic place to bring your kids as well. There is a kids club now available and Fijian nannies are just fantastic.
